“sam!”robert跑向正坐在篝火旁的samantha。“我钓了一条大鱼！”

“是吗？你真棒，rob。”samantha开心地回过头，骄傲地看着他。

“cat教我的,她可厉害了，就她钓得最多了。“robert拉我在samantha身边坐下，“你不在，真可惜。”

“是啊，我们要多谢你的partner，大家今晚有烤鱼吃了。不过，你这篝火起得也满不错的。”frank笑呵呵地走过来对samantha说。

“是吗？cat这么有本事啊？”samantha满眼含笑地看着我。（damn,sheisbeautiful!）

“hey,samantha，感觉好点了吗？”sara关心地问她。“如果你需要的话，我还有止痛药。”carla和joanne这时也走了过来，jo一把抓住我肩膀，对samantha说“不好意思，samantha，忘了告诉你，这的确是个让人头痛的家伙。”

“没错，你现在换partner还来得及。”carla从不浪费机会挖我墙角。

“嗯，我一听到有鱼吃，头马上都不疼了。还有，我partner这么能干，我可舍不得放弃她。”

我不好意思地对她笑一笑，趁周围的人不注意时，悄悄问她，“衣服怎么样了？”

“都搞定了，应该快干了。”她在我耳边轻轻说，吹得我耳朵痒痒的。

“真的吗？我还以为要一整晚才能干呢。”

“嗯，也许有些衣服要久一点。我把它们都摊在帐篷里。”

“帐篷里面，会干得那么快？”我吃惊地看着她。

扑哧一声，她笑了起来，“当然不是，”一边把树枝向火里投，一边说“我在你们走后就升火，我们的衣服洗完后，烤了大约一个多小时，我才放进帐篷的。”

“噢，我们去了这么久啊？真不好意思。。。”

“我告诉你，那个鱼竿绝对有问题。”danielle的声音从后面传了过来，我回头看了一眼她和amy，悄悄对samantha说，”某个曾经钓到过鲨鱼的人连个小虾米都没钓着。”

“这些小鱼有什么好吃的，上次，我钓的鲨鱼。。。”

“天啊，”carla实在听不下去了，一下子倒在joanne身上。“你们不会相信这话是从我嘴里出来的，jo,我太庆幸我是和你一起睡了。”

“如果再让我听到她说一句鲨鱼，或是鱼竿有问题，我真会把她捆起来喂鲨鱼。”joanne抬高声音说。我们jo就是这么酷。

vero拍了她的头一下，说，“就你话多。”

“不是，vero，”sara接口，“老张已经告诉我了，如果再和某人多呆几天，我回家后需要帮他介绍心理医生了。”大家都笑了起来。

“说什么呢？这么开心？”说曹操，曹操到。amy拉着danielle加入我们。

“说鲨鱼呢。”jo故意看了眼danielle。

“我们在说什么动物最危险。”vero又蹬了一眼jo，转移话题。

“噢，那。我也觉得是鲨鱼最危险。”amy回头问danielle，“亲爱的，你说呢？”

“有一次去野外拍照，我差点被一头mountainlion抓到，我得承认，那次是离死亡最近的。”

我听到jo轻轻用中文对sara说，“真遗憾。”

“youhavesomethingtosay?joanne?”danielle显然看出jo对她的不满。

“well,thetruthofthematteris…”joanne看到vero警告的目光，犹豫了一下说，“no,ijustthinkthathumansarealwaysthemostdangerousanimalontheplanet.”

“oh,givemeabreak.”deb一边绑她的马尾辫，一边说，“humansareonlydangerouswhentheyarebehindthewheelofacarinrushhourtraffic,orwhentheydon’tgettheirpaychecks.”

“well,ihavetoagreewithjoanne.”samantha慢慢说，“animalsdon’tscreweachotherforapieceofactionorstabeachotherinthebackorallowmoneytoruletheirlives.”她的目光有意无意间扫向danielle。

“exactlymypoint.”joanne对samantha点点头。
